What they wore: 2015 Grammy’s

Last night the Grammy Awards aired and some of fave celebs hit the red carpet. Most of them SLAYED as usual while others were a complete miss. Here’s a recap of some of this year’s look:

Rihanna has to be thee most versatile  celebrity of our time when it comes to fashion. No matter the hairstyle or outfit she completely slays it.  She is not afraid to try anything new or push the limits. If Rihanna wears it  please believe that almost every young girl, even some celebrities, are going to try the look out.

It was no surprise that the singer was honored with the 2014 Fashion Icon Award at the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Fashion Awards.   The star wore a completely sheer gown made of over 200,000 swarovski crystals with a matching head-wrap and gloves.  The ensemble gave us a 1920’s Flapper girl feel. But was her outfit a bit much at the award show? Was it tasteless?

 The star is no stranger to showing her nipples and rump but never has she done both on a red carpet.  As a huge Rihanna fan I was completely taken back by the outfit myself.  In my opinion the outfit was a little tasteless, no matter the cost, for even Rihanna. The singer has the body for the outfit but it would have looked more classy with a nude underlining. But as always The Navy has given her complete praise on her outfit. Is this what we want our young girls to look up to and copy? It is not. But Rihanna herself has said that even though she is a superstar she is not a role model. So if you are looking for her to tone down her image it’s more than likely not going to happen. She is going to stay the same provocative Rihanna that she has molded herself into.

REMEMBER: JUST BECAUSE IT LOOKS GOOD ON HER 9/10 ITS NOT GOING TO LOOK ON YOU!!

So the MET GALA has come and gone. For those of you that do not know the MET GALA is the opening celebration for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit. The GALA is the most exclusive social event in New York and is probably the biggest night in fashion. Each year it has a theme and this year it was a tribute to designer Charles James.
